"In order to get a student driver permit you must complete these steps and requirements

1. Complete TDC: Enroll in a 15-hour Theoretical Driving Course at an accredited driving school to receive a Certificate of Completion. 

2. Get a Medical Certificate: Visit an LTO-accredited clinic to get a medical certificate. 

3. Prepare Documents: Gather your original and photocopy of your PSA Birth Certificate, and a valid government ID. If under 18, bring a parent's consent letter. 

4. Register Online: Create an account on the LTO LTMS Portal. 

5. Submit to LTO: Visit an LTO Licensing Center or District Office to submit documents, have your photo/biometrics taken, and pay the fees 

Key Requirements:

- At least 16 years old.

- TDC Certificate of Completion.

- Medical Certificate.

- PSA Birth Certificate.

- Valid Government ID.

- Parental Consent (if below 18)."

"You may renew your drivers license online through the eGov application

Online (eGovPH / LTMS):

- Register or log in to the eGovPH app or LTMS portal

- Access LTO services and select “Driver’s License Renewal”

- Complete the CDE (Comprehensive Driver’s Education) requirement

- Secure a medical certificate from an accredited clinic or telemedicine provider

- Upload required documents (valid driver’s license and verification photo)

- Settle applicable renewal fees online

- Receive the digital driver’s license (eDL) through the system

Onsite (LTO Office):

- Prepare all requirements: current license, CDE certificate, and medical certificate

- Proceed to any LTO District Office or Licensing Center

- Submit documents for evaluation

- Undergo biometrics and photo capture

- Pay the required fees

- Claim the released driver’s license card after processing

Advisory:

- 10-year validity may be granted for qualified drivers with no violations

- 5-year validity applies to drivers with recorded violations

- Licenses expired beyond two (2) years require passing both written and practical examinations before renewal"

"To renew your Philippine driver's license you mat proceed to the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) portal.

Documents to prepare:

- Duly accomplished Application for Permits and Licenses (APL) Form

- Presentation of one (1) photocopy of passport (first page, visa page and departure from the Philippines and latest arrival overseas) 

- Presentation of original Letter of Authority of authorized representative

- The licensee shall present himself/herself within 30 days upon arrival to the same office where the renewal was made for photo-taking and submit the following:
